Cannabis10X introduces their ‘inner sanctum’ of Investors to the world of retail as 15 Finalists pitch live for investments, strategic partnerships, and of course… the coveted Cannabis Crown.

The Event “Retail Alchemy” happens on September 26th and brands that make the cut will be greeted by Cheech Marin, the original Hollywood stoner.

Cheech is pairing up with Cannabis10X founders Jason Tropf and Holly A Ford to add a humorous yet insightful Keynote with sobering truths about the Cannabis industry.

“We are running with a very eclectic crowd!” Tropf said about the addition of Cheech to the line-up. “We work with political leaders, multi-billion dollar funds and celebrities, along with of a wealth of international Cannabis brands all the way to brands launching their seed rounds of funding.”

This event will be of an even greater magnitude! So how does it work? Brands submit to brandsubmission@cannabis10x.com. The first 100 brands to submit get a live audience with Ford and Tropf to pitch their brand. The top 40 are selected for the semi-finals, a ‘pre-event’ on September 16th where brands do a 2-minute elevator pitch to the sharks. The judges then select 15 to go to the finals on September 26th.

In a recent interview, Ford was asked how the event name; “Retail Alchemy” was chosen;

“Alchemy is an ancient branch of natural philosophy. Alchemists transmuted base metals such as lead into noble metals such as gold. They created the elixir of mortality, the panaceas that cured all disease, and perfected the human body and soul from the alchemical magnum opus (the philosopher’s stone).”

Ford whimsically adds “Our retail clients are doing the same thing. They are creating gold with their businesses that sell an elixir that cures disease and stabilizes the body chemistry and soul.”
