Since it’s July 2019 launch, Weed Talk Live has had over 10,000 viewers and the show’s two hour segments are also edited and shared as an audio podcast on all the leading podcast outlets including iTunes and Spotify.

Some of the biggest names in the fledgling cannabis industry have joined Curt and Jimmy on the phone or in the studio including Bruce Linton, the Man who built Canopy Growth, Steve DeAngelo, the Father of the Cannabis industry in California, movie and cult legend Tommy Chong, and even the CEO of Legal Sea Foods Roger Berkowitz has been in studio. Now taking phone calls and chat from Facebook Live, the two hosts will be able to interact directly with their growing audience.

In the latest edition of Weed Talk Live with Curt and Jimmy, they welcomed the number one cannabis media personality in Boston, former Sensi Magazine editor Dan McCarthy who is now back doing free lance writing for the Boston Institute for Non-Profit Journalism among other publications. Dan brought in, David Yusefzadeh of eatsacrilicious.com, one of the most famous and successful cannabis infusion chefs in the world!

They also talked to the Market Development Director for DetectaChem Greg Giuntini who explained and demonstrated their new product for law enforcement that is able to test THC content of Hemp in the field. That makes their job a lot easier to spot the different strains of cannabis sativa, the magical plant that is shaking up the world now that advocates have moved many countries towards legalization and acceptance.

In the second hour of the show, Cannabis consultant Hillary King is in studio for an interview with the National Cannabis Industry Association's Communications Director, Morgan Fox, who previewed the Northeast Cannabis Business Conference in Boston.

Young is a former NATAS NE Emmy Award winner as a talk show host, and four time nominee in sports production over a 40 year career. Young admits he’s old but considering he’s been a medical cannabis card carrying patient since the program’s inception in Massachusetts in 2013, most people still think he’s pretty cool. He’s hosted sports talk shows for decades around New England including ten years in Portland Maine CBS affiliate WGME TV. He also hosted his own show on New England Cable News from 1992-98 where he delivered the first ever sports report on NECN, the nation’s largest regional 24 hour news channel, now owned by NBC Universal.
