Hy Hybrid

Jack Frost

Overview:

Goldenseed has spent five years developing Jack Frost, trying their best to increase its potency. For that reason, Jack Frost has underwent serious changes since it first sprouted. Experts say those changes are for the better. Now in its third year of inbreeding, Jack Frost has finally begun to reach its peak as a strain. Its parent plants were once only Jack Herer, White Widow, and Northern Lights #5, but more recent grows have incorporated another parent strain by the name of Rainbow Kashmiri. The levels of THC in the plant have been recorded to be up to 22.6%, meaning this hybrid will pack a real punch. Jack Frost tastes and smells earthy, with sweet undertones. It is a pungent strain, so be careful using this strain if you do not like smelling like marijuana. It grows tall and flowers in about sixty days. It does well if it is harvested during the October harvest. Being sativa-dominant, Jack Frost makes the user euphoric, happy, uplifted, and energetic. If you suffer from fatigue, Jack Frost is the perfect hybrid for you. It may even give you a creative boost if you're the artsy type! Jack Frost effectively treats depression, stress, fatigue, pain, and even muscle spasms. Reported side effects include dry mouth and dry eyes. Less common but more severe side effects that have been reported include paranoia, dizziness, and anxiety. If sativa-dominants tend to give you these symptoms, use this strain with caution.

The Pain of Paying - Seeking Cannabis on a Budget Because You Have No Choice

My heart sank reading a recent tweet about the crushing cost of medical cannabis for one patient with epilepsy - $560 a month, breaking their budget. The sheer injustice and helplessness of lacking access to affordable medicine that could ease their suffering upset me deeply. In an ideal world, no one should have to ration relief they need based on ability to pay. Yet pharmaceutical greed oppresses so many into needless pain, unable to afford monopolized pills and treatments.
