Sa Sativa

Power Plant

Overview:

Dutch Passion Seed Company is responsible for this strong sativa bred from African strains. Power Plant is a quick-growing strain, flowering in just fifty-six days or so. For that reason, it makes the perfect strain for any grower looking for quick turnaround time. Power Plant is known for its high THC content. It can be a lot if you are not a veteran user, so use this strain with caution, especially if you are prone to some of the harsher negative side effects. Dry mouth and dry eye are fairly common, which are obviously tolerable. Less tolerable negative side effects include headache, paranoia, and anxiety. Power Plant most effectively treats stress, depression, headaches, pain, and muscle spasms. It is best used for daytime relief since it is likely to keep you alert and awake. Its psychoactive effects lead to euphoria, creativity, relaxation, and a jolt of energy. For those reasons, the strain is perfect to use if you have a routine to stick to. Lastly, but certainly not least, you will want to be aware of Power Plant's flavor profile. It tastes strongly of wood, and it is quite pungent. The potent aroma also has some earthy undertones, making it quite complex.

Why the World Can't Ignore the UK CBD Market Any Longer

CBD products in the UK are mandated to carry a label displaying information of their constituents. Many suppliers were discovered to have been lying about their displayed information and this has renewed calls for stricter regulation of the market quality standard. In a blind testing exercise by PhytoVista, only 38 percent of the sampled CBD contains about 10 percent of the CBD content they advertised on their label. Another 38 percent contain lesser than 50 percent of the advertised CBD. In fact, a brand was reported not to have CBD at all in its constituents, and shockingly, the brand was from a High Street pharmacy and it is retailed for £90.

Is There Really a Cannabinoid 30x Stronger than THC? Say What?

Named as cannabidiphorol (CBDP) and tetrahydrocannabiphorol (THCP), they discovered unique properties that look promising. THCP, in particular, was found to be 30 times more potent than THC – at least when administered to animal models. It remains to be seen what we can expect with these cannabinoids in the future, but the researchers think that THCP may be responsible for giving each cannabis strain its own different effects.
