Sa Sativa

Thai

Overview:

Often called “Thai Sticks”, Thai is a popular strain of cannabis that came from Thailand during the 1970s and 1980s. It is the parent to delicious strains such as Haze and Juicy Fruit and it is personally responsible for their strong, citrusy flavors. Its nickname derives from the Thai practice of drying the plant into sticks, meaning it is not always harvested in the way that people harvest it in western countries. Its long grow time and gradual process of flowering are only doable in tropical climates and greenhouses due to its finicky nature. That being said, it is necessary to keep an eye out for mold.

The DIY Guide to Making Cannabis-Infused Honey

Cannabis honey is honey that is infused with marijuana and it is something that is often said to have been created for a very long time as there are claims which say ancient Egyptians used it in their rituals. However, it has become progressively popular as many cannabis chefs are whipping up several cannabis honey recipes to create sensations in the cannabis industry. It is often considered (though yet to be proven) that cannabis honey should have some beneficial properties because the components have individual health benefits. For example, honey contains compounds like carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, vitamins, and minerals while the cannabinoids contained in cannabis such as THC and CBD are known to be beneficial to the treatment of chronic pains, epilepsy-related seizures, stress, and epilepsy.

Ending off 2021 with a Bit of 'Marijuana is a Gateway Drug' Reefer Madness from Channel 12 News

No Pachter, marijuana is not for “one purpose”. Marijuana has many different purposes, “feeling good” is one of them, but many other use it for spiritual reasons, health reasons, economic motivations, creativity, etc. Cannabis is precisely there for the things he said that it isn’t there for. Cannabis does help some people sleep. Not sleeping is terrible for your health. Cannabis is there to help you develop an appetite…ask any anorexic what not eating does to the mind and body. Stress can lead to heart attacks, using cannabis to unwind at the end of a long day is a means of reducing your risk of stroke and heart attack. Couple that with some exercise – and cannabis can actually help keep you young and healthy.

As the Popularity of CBD Oil for Dogs Continues to Grow, So Do the Scams Unfortunately

All dogs have endocannabinoid systems, but like humans, some pups just don’t seem to be affected by CBD, regardless of the correct dosage. The reasons behind this are unclear, reflecting the fact that research on cannabis and its effects on the body is still very much in its infancy. CBD also won’t work in the same way for every dog. Some owners claim that to have seen CBD take effect in as little as twenty minutes after a dog’s first dose. More likely, however, is that benefits become visible after around a week of steady consistent treatment with CBD.
