Hy Hybrid

Bruce Banner

Overview:

Bruce Banner is a hybrid strain that is known for its namesake. It is named after the Marvel superhero, the Incredible Hulk. Bruce Banner is was first made at Delta 9 Labs and has been giving users a happy, euphoric high ever since. Creatives love the boost of artistic energy that you get after using the strain. Strawberry Diesel and OG Kush are the parent plants of this strain. The strain comes in a number of phenotypes. Most are indica, but the main phenotype is sativa-dominant. It will flower in approximately nine weeks, though it may take a little less time or a little more time. It is a tall plant and has broad leaves. This strain is sweet-tasting with diesel overtones and inconspicuous earthy undertones. It does not smell as pungent as many strains, making it a good daytime strain, simply because it wakes one up (as long as you don't try one of the indica phenotypes). It is also known to help those that struggle with fatigue. Most people would say that the strain affects them more like a sativa than an indica, giving them that quick boost of energy they need to face the day. The most common negative side effect with Bruce Banner is dry mouth. Other complaints include dry eye and headache, but it has far fewer negative side effects than most strains. Occasionally, it may also lead to dizziness.

Made in Highmerica - Positive Cannabis Drug Tests in the American Workforce Spike to a 25 Year High

According to an analysis by Quest Diagnostics released last Thursday, the percentage of the general U.S. workforce who tested positive for marijuana in their urine after having an accident at work rose to 7.3% in 2017. It was 6.7% in 2021, a tad less.  Remember, these are only tests done after a worker had an accident, if you didn't have an accident, and were high on cannabis, it would not be recorded in this survey.

What is the Difference between THC and THCA?

So how does THCA become THC? Simple, through the application of light and/or heat known as decarboxylation. You’ve probably heard of it before. It’s the same process needed to make edibles. What happens is when heat is applied to cannabis in its raw form, the carboxylic acid group of atoms in THCA are removed, converting them into molecules and altering its chemical structure. This process allows it to fit into the CB1 receptors that are found in the central nervous system, which then results in the mind/body-altering effects we commonly associate with THC.
