Hy Hybrid

Chocolate Kush

Overview:

Chocolate Kush, oftentimes referred to as “Chocolope Kush”, is a popular hybrid with indica- dominant properties. It is sometimes confused with “Chocolope”, as well, which is a strong sativa. Chocolate Kush was originally bred by 00 Seeds, a seed company located in Spain. When it sprouts, its buds are swimming in thick, luscious resin. Its parent strain, Mazar I Sharif, is largely responsible for the strain's appearance, flavor, and smell. While it grows medium in height and in tiers much like a pine tree, it takes up to sixty days to flower and usually does well if it is harvested in October. It has a strong smell and a chocolatey flavor, as the name suggests. The most notable psychoactive effect that Chocolate Kush has on the user is an extremely intense body buzz. If you experience any kind of anxiety, Chocolate Kush will very likely help you relax. Be cautionary when you use it though! It will put you to sleep, probably faster than you would expect. However, if you react well with indicas and are able to stay awake, you may actually feel even more focused than usual. It tends to have different effects on different people. The only known negative effect of Chocolate Kush is dry mouth, but that is easy to combat with a refreshing glass of water. There is no known severe side effects, making it perfect for those that struggle with anxiety when they use marijuana.

Cannabis and the Impending Trumpocalypse - Dispelling Rumors about Trump and Weed

All of the news speculations comes from a “leaked conversation” about the Trump Administration wanting to remove a specific Rider in the fiscal budget which specifically states that the federal government cannot use any of its funding to prevent states “from implementing their own laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of medical marijuana.” Trump essentially wants to remove cannabis from the fiscal budget - an odd tactic that was utilized by advocates in 2014 to provide some protections for the cannabis industry – by gagging the federal government by removing their funding.

Could CBD Help Relieve Allergy Symptoms?

CBD has antimicrobial properties that help in its activity against seasonal allergies by helping to reduce the irritation caused at the throat and sinuses. The endocannabinoid system also has a large role to play in this with the two major cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 found majorly in the nervous system and immune system respectively being implicated in causing inflammation. This inflammation at the sinuses accounts for a large part of the reaction of the body to allergens and the interaction of CBD with these receptors can help to reduce inflammation by stabilizing the endocannabinoid system and the neurotransmitters that mediate it.

Medical Cannabis Enrollment Is Skyrocketing, Is It Chronic Pain Conditions or to Avoid Paying Taxes on Cannabis Products?

Many states are modifying their cannabis policies to include unexpected restrictions. For example, some people are no longer able to use as much medical cannabis as they would like or the way they'd like to due to the dramatic effects of amended cannabis laws. One big reason for an mmj card is due to economics, as most states do not tax medical marijuana, as opposed to heavy taxes on recreational marijuana.  If a user spends X amount per week, based on the cost of an mmj card in their area, it may be in their self interest to get a card as products will be cheaper with no heavy tax burden.
