Hy Hybrid

Jack Flash

Overview:

Jack Flash is a popular hybrid strain from Sensi Seeds. It started from Jack Herer's genes, but is ultimately a cross between Haze and Super Skunk. With a gene pool like that, it is no wonder it is so highly revered! Jack Flash earned its namesake because there is one thing it is notorious for: a quick, impactful hit to the user. As soon as you use Jack Flash, you will feel it begin to create a little bit of a headband, and it will stay that way for a little while. Unfortunately, it is not known for being long-lasting, but that is quite common with fast-acting strains. Causing an uplifted and energetic buzz, Jack Flash is perfect for anyone that suffers from depression, anxiety, ADHD, or fatigue. It will wake you up, give you a creative boost, and help you get through the rest of the day. As aforementioned, though, it is short-lived, so be prepared for a crash if you do not medicate throughout the day. The plant itself takes sixty-five days to flower and yields a lot of product. It grows to a medium height and takes on a scent that is earthy, piney, and somehow, also sweet. The interesting combination is a treat for any marijuana enthusiast that appreciates complex flavor. Sadly, Jack Flash does cause severe dry mouth and dry eye, but never fear! Both of those are easy to fix with water and eye drops. Other more worrying side effects are less common, but

The Cannabis Cannonball Run - Illinois Becomes 11th State to Legalize Recreational Cannabis

One interesting tidbit with Illinois going recreational is that we are getting very close to a cannonball run course from California to Maine where you can almost make the whole trip through legal cannabis states.  Missouri and Indiana being the last real worrisome areas.  Does that mean it is legal to transport your medical marijuana across each state line or that you can now legally drive THC products across the country without a problem?

Hop Latent Viroid - The Invisible Threat Plaguing the Cannabis Industry

One such threat was the hop latent viroid - a plant-specific pathogenic RNA that had begun to ravage cannabis crops across the globe. At first, the viroid had gone unnoticed, lurking in the shadows like a silent assassin. But as more and more growers began to fall victim to its effects, it became clear that something had to be done. The viroid had the potential to destroy entire crops, decimating the fledgling industry and leaving countless people out of work.

Kris Krane's Challenge to a Former DEA Agent is a Great Way to Start 2021

Kris Krane recently had one of his articles published on Forbes. If you’re not sure who Kris Krane is, he was one of the founders of Students for Sensible Drug Policy. He’s been a long standing cannabis advocate and have debated DEA agents about their drug policies. In other words, Kris and people like him are the reason that so many of us can experience legal cannabis where we live. He also is a cofounder of 4Front – a firm that helps invest into legal cannabis enterprises.
