Afgoo

Overview:

A descendant of an Afghani Indica and Maui Haze, Afgoo represents an amazing mixture of cultures. Commonly referred to as Afgooey, this particular strain has taken the world by storm, thanks to its extremely powerful and immediate effect. Afgoo strain tests reveal a 16% THC content on average, embedded in sticky olive-green buds covered in a layer of sparkling trichomes. This particular strain is ideal for those with a love for the classic hash taste. Due to the high levels of euphoria it induces, Afgoo is widely popular among smokers who are looking to lower their anxiety levels. What makes Afgoo special is the sedative effect it causes. This more often than not results in the need for sleep. Afgoo is the perfect remedy for those who suffer from insomnia. Additionally, smokers report strong pain relief and a sense of calm, making it a great treatment for everyday stress. When it comes to possible side-effects, they are no different than any other strain of weed. Some smokers report a slight headache, and, in some rare cases, paranoia. Taking into consideration all of the above mentioned effects of Afgoo, it is advisable to use it in the evening, right before hitting the sack.

Does Medical Marijuana Help with Stomach Ulcers?

Marijuana interacts with the endocannabinoid system where it protects the digestive system from harm by the gastric acids. THC is found to bind with the CB1 receptors to prevent gastric acid production. CBD also has an impact on the CB1 receptors in the GI tract. If CBD is taken orally in an oil form, it also contributes to the inhibition of gastric acid secretion.

The US Federal Government Just Bought a Ton of Marijuana for Medical Research for the First Time Ever

Since 1971, a single facility at the University of Mississippi has been in charge of producing cannabis plants for research purposes at the federal level. This monopoly prevented other facilities (public and private-owned) from growing marijuana for experimental reasons. In 2016, the DEA began to remove the monopoly on marijuana for medical research. Finally, they achieved what they set out to do in May 2021. The applications of several cannabis companies were approved by mid-2021. Groff Hemplex and the Biopharmaceutical Research Company revealed that they have been fully registered in the DEA database and have started cultivating cannabis plants. The first phase of harvest, which started about a month ago, will be forwarded to research facilities. Marijuana researchers across the country have commended this development.
