Blueberry

Overview:

A true A-List cannabis strain. Blueberry’s legendary status soared to new heights after claiming the High Times’ Cannabis Cup 2000 for Best Indica. The long history of the stain is traced back to the late 1970s when American breeder DJ Short was working with a variety of exotic landrace strains. However, throughout the decades of Blueberry’s cultivation the genetics have been passed around, due in large part to DJ Short working with multiple seed banks and breeders. The sweet flavors of fresh blueberries combine with relaxing effects to produce a long-lasting sense of euphoria. Many medical patients appreciate Blueberry for its ability to suppress pain and relieve stress, while connoisseurs and growers admire the strain for its colorful hues and high THC content.

It is on this basis that it is used for some mental conditions. A closer look into the relationship between the constituent of cannabis and the effects of some of these conditions gives a better picture of why cannabis seems to have a role in psychotherapy.

The Cannabis Buffer Zone Debate - NY Grapples with How Many Dispensaries Are Too Many Dispensaries in a Neighborhood

In a bold move, New York City’s “Common Sense” Caucus, a group of nine council members, has called on Governor Kathy Hochul to block a proposal by the state’s Cannabis Control Board (CCB) that could potentially flood the city with more cannabis dispensaries. The proposal, if approved, would allow waivers to the existing 1,000-foot buffer zone between legal cannabis shops, potentially permitting multiple dispensaries to operate on the same block.

Who is Funding These Idiotic Clickbait Headline Cannabis Studies?

Nope – this is a study published in JAMA Pediatrics but once again – I have no idea how these studies get funded. I went through the data and found so many issues with their findings that the scientists who published the study must either be willfully ignorant about their findings or their personal biases have ruined their objectivity that it can’t really be considered “science” anymore.
