Traditional mechanical kitchen scales use a dial display that’s significantly less easy to read as a possible LCD screen, but around the plus side, they don't really require batteries are available with bigger bowls or trays that will make them beneficial to measuring out huge amounts. They also look wonderful in old-fashioned kitchens.

I haven't had etekcity kitchen scale long but I manipulate it, and I have gotten scales this way before, this also scale performs well, and much better than other more expensive scales I have owned. The directions are extremely easy to understand as well as the scale is extremely easy to operate. The reading is incredibly easy to see if your scale is occupied. I am thrilled with this purchase, especially with it being so affordable -- you would think that you were getting a substandard product, but this may not be the case. I purchased this scale having looked at it recommended by America's Test Kitchen and again they've steered me right. Thank you for manufacturing this item!

I had started eating better plan along to measure and record what I ate inside the entire day. This machine is awesome! It can show you weight in pounds, grams, pounds and oz, kilos and grams or maybe ounce! The best feature I like may be the Tare part. I would placed the bowl about it and then turn it on. Then I would put some food, weigh that food, tare it then add other ingredients. It was vitally important for my diet that I keep tab on every single ounce I was consuming, which means this came in real handy. After my diet, I used it to bake new recipes and tare part entered handy lots!
