It’s always a good day when cannabis and a good cause come together. Recently, Stone Road Farms decided to make a 3-foot long, 24-karat gold joint with more than a pound of reefer, 2 ounces of bubble hash and 6 ounces of concentrates and auctioned it off for the African Wildlife Foundation.

Shaped in the form of an Ivory Tusk, the joint eventually sold for $4000 and despite the losses from making the joint, the owner wasn’t too upset.

“Everything was donated, and the person who bought it is my biggest investor, so it’s staying in the family,” Corwin [CEO of Stone Road Farms] said.

He donated all of the money to the foundation, which are training German Shepherds to track down poachers in Africa. As you know, poaching in Africa and the Ivory trade is bringing African Elephants to the point of extinction.

How Long would it take to smoke this Joint?

Considering that the average cannabis user consumes about 4-8 grams a week, this pound filled joint will take a solo-stoner probably months to finish. Couple this with the fact that it has 6 ounces of concentrate and 2 ounces of bubble hash, the owner says a couple of hits would give you couch lock.

Smoking it will also provide a challenge. You’d have to use a blow torch to light it. The person who is helping to spark the joint will probably spiral into a vision quest somewhere in the belly of the “CannAbyss”.

This is obviously not a one-stoner job. You’d need an army of cannabis consumers to smoke on that and even with that, it should take you multiple days to complete the ginormous task.

The owner of Stone Road Farms said that they are looking into filming the event, which I believe would be like stoner porn. We’re all eager to see how that plays out.

Is it the most expensive joint in the world?

We typical stoners complain about weed prices. Of course, we still dish out our hard earned cash, but this joint definitely takes the cake when we’re talking about “out of my price range”.

However, seeing that this is one of the world’s most expensive joints…we’d like to see if it is the record holder. In 2017, the rapper 2-Chainz boasted about smoking the most expensive joint on the planet. 24-karat gold wrapped joints where an ounce of reefer goes for $800. It’s some of the most expensive weed on the planet.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t come close to the Ivory Monster that was rolled by Stone Road Farms and as of now, the world record holder for most expensive joint ever goes to the monster.

If Guinness book of records would consider putting this in their books, I think all stoner-kind would appreciate it.

Nonetheless, we’re entering into a crazy world which once demonized cannabis and now embraces it as part of everyday life. I don’t think the average stoner would ever dish out $24,000 for a joint, but kudos to the guy who did it. Not only did he put the joint on the international radar, he helped save a few Elephants in the process. Not bad for a professional stoner.

How Many Stoners will it take to finish the joint

As mentioned, an army of pro-tokers need to tackle this task. We don’t know how many people are going to be invited to partake of this epic joint, however we can speculate that it would be more than 10 people at least.

Seeing that the person who bought the joint is a close friend of the owner, we can expect some sort of event to be made to debut the Ivory Monster.

Just as a side note, the joint isn’t called the Ivory Monster…I coined that in this article, but if the owners of Stone Road Farms ever reads this article…hopefully he’d agree with me.

What would you do with the Ivory Monster?

Personally, I’d wait for a special occasion, invite all of my closest friends and enclose myself for a week trying to smoke that thing.

After all, cannabis is meant to be shared. While it’s always fun to smoke alone, I doubt any single stoner would be able to finish that joint by him or herself. If I had to undergo the challenge of smoking this monster myself, it would probably take me months to finish it and I’d end up wasting a lot.

If I did end up smoking this bad boy myself, I’d probably not smoke it in its tusk form. I’d break it up and make it last me an entire year. Especially since I only smoke about 3-5 grams of cannabis a week. However, I’d love to hear in the comment section what you’d do with the Ivory Monster.
