Frequency Infused Cannabis and Marijuana Tarot Cards - Hollywood's Psychic Mary Talks Healing and Readings
Cannabis.net got to sit down with Hollywood's most famous psychic, Psychic Mary, aka Jusstine Kenzer, to talk about her frequency infused cannabis and how her new cananbis tarot cards work. Thank you to Jusstine for sharing some of her past experiences and opening up about psychics, cannabis, and healing!
How did you first get into psychic readings and healing?
Becoming a professional psychic-healer was never anything I imagines I would do with my life. My parents owned shoe stores. I started making and selling clothes very early on, by 16 I was selling my jewelry and clothing designs to local stores. My entire life was planned out as a fashion designer. However, as my father was fitting customers for shoes, he loved wowing them with his intuition. As other kids were getting tucked in with bedtime stories, I was being psychically tested about my day and being taught how to program my subconscious mind. Yet, my father never suggested that I should be psychic, he just wanted me to get a good sales job (I joke that ended up selling spirituality to the masses). I went to fashion design school, I started a clothing company, and at 21 The San Francisco Chronical called me a marketing queen. Still the universe had other plans. I had moved into a super scary Amityville Horror haunted house and then moved out just as fast. I went to get a psychic reading at reputable psychic center to be sure whatever was in that other house didn’t follow me to the new one. I then spent the next six years studying and developing my own psychic abilities however, I was incredibly resistant to this psychic thing ever becoming a daily part of my life. I still believed that my end goal was becoming a famous fashion designer. In a nutshell, nothing else worked out in my life but being psychic. Always ahead of the times, I launched a website in the beginning-ish of the internet that ended up getting a full page write up in Glamour magazine. Other press and reading celebrity recognition followed.
How did the psychic readings turn into a cannabis interest, in the sense of a business idea?
Here is the absolute craziest part of me getting into the cannabis business. Pot was never my thing. It was my parent’s thing and no one wants to do what their parents do. The first time I ever smoked pot I stole it from my mother’s bathroom where she kept a stash in a red patent leather purse. She also had lots of oregano-looking herbs in plastic bags and foil in the freezer. The shittiest part is that when. I grew older, and my mother couldn’t find any, she would go to my friends and ask them to get it for her and not tell me about it. So you can see how I would have major issues with this. In all honestly, I was launching a tequila company and the pandemic hit and I had to pivot and I’m so glad it played out this way.
How long did it take to develop and design The Psychic Mary Tarot Deck?
I have wanted to make subject specific tarot decks for the past 20 years. Surprisingly the deck came together pretty quick, but there were a few cards I had to ask my pot smoker friends for help with. It was such a fun process finding the one thing that truly represented each card in the cannabis world.
Can anyone use the cards or does one need to have psychic training?
I believe the less psychic training the better! This deck is made to be used with your own intuition. And we all have a natural intuition and we are all psychic whether you recognize it or not. When using The Psychic Mary Tarot Deck, whatever you believe that card means to you, then that is the answer. Your guides and teachers will help inspire and guide you. If you must, must be by the book you can use any Rider-Waite book or website definition to help you, but I suggest you don’t get caught up in that and that you start to create a relationship with the deck by asking a question and pulling a card and letting whatever is the highest and best message for you to effortlessly come off that card and into you or consciousness! If you could see, what would you see? That’s not your imagination, it is what you are seeing. Over time you will know what each card means to you.
What was one mistake you made in the cannabis space that you wish you could get a “do over” for now?
I wish I didn’t wait so long to get into it! It took me a minute to find a grower I was excited about partnering with and who got what I was doing. Most importantly, I had to find someone who had integrity. I couldn’t do this project with just anyone. I had an ex who was very successful financially and loved smoking pot. He unexpectedly passed right before my growing partner came into the picture. I and my closest friends believe he made this partnership happen.
What piece of advice would you give someone trying to get into the cannabis space right now?
Honestly, I feel for anyone trying to get into such a crowded space. Having a fantastic product is obviously a must. But how do you make that product stand out and how do you get eyeballs on it and people to buy it. I’ve always been a natural at marketing and I know with every cell of my being I have something incredibly unique and very real. Also I know that no one can copy it, but I’ve patented the process to protect it.
Does cannabis alter or affect someone’s psychic reading in anyway?
I would never ever do a reading for someone while I was using. I’ve been transparent that marijuana has never been my vice. However, knowing what I know, I wanted to make the experience of using marijuana safer and while I was at it, why not help people with what they really want, which is finding answers and healing int their life.
Does cannabis use help or hurt you doing your psychic job? Does it open up new horizons when you are working and help you see things more clearly?
When one smokes, drinks or does drugs, you actually are opening your consciousness up to any energy good, bad or indifferent. All psychic ability, be it reading cards, using clairvoyance, or whatever form of divination one uses, is communicating with spirit. Spirits are those who have passed over to the other side. When we die we are still very much alive, we just lose our physical body. Yet, just because someone has passed over doesn’t mean they can see or know everything. If someone was mentally or emotionally ill when they were living, odds are they are still dealing with these same issues on the other side. Just as you wouldn’t run up to some lost ranting person in the street and take their advice, you want to be sure you know who you are communicating with on the other side, when using or not.
