Season 2 of Weediquette has started on Viceland this week, which you can read about here, and there is one thing that show reminds us of each time they do a human interest story.
Season 1 had a show on veterans with PTSD and it was shocking when they showed the boxes of medicines that were mailed out each month to the veterans. Those who had swtiched to medical marijuana, all swore that is all they needed now. From 12 bottles of pills to one plant. The problem was that they would lose their VA benefits if they were caught with medical marijuana since the government has not approved it as a PTSD treatment.
Fast forward to the first eposide of Season 2 this week and we meet a woman in Kansas suffering from Crohn's disease and she has a basket full of prescription drugs to take. She only wants to take the medical marijuana she had when she lived in Colorado. Another example of 15 prescriptions or one plant.
