"Free Cannabis For A Year" Contest Overview
Free Weed for a Year? YES!
This November, nine states will be voting to legalize it either for medicinal or recreational purposes. How can you help us “blaze the vote?” The answer is surprisingly simple; show up on Election Day (Tuesday, November 8th, 2016) and make your voice heard. Every vote counts and as if flexing your voting muscle wasn’t satisfying enough - we’re here to sweeten the pot - by giving away a year’s supply of cannabis! (Yes, you read that right and it isn’t the edible kicking in).
That’s right, buds. Cannabis.net is giving away a Cannabis for Year.
Start: October 10, 2016
End: April 20, 2017, 11:59pm EDT
While local and state laws vary from state to state, Cannabis.net will abide by all state and local laws regarding the winner’s location and state. Once the winner has been determined, all state and federal guidelines for contests and marijuana laws will be followed. Since states have different rules as far as quantity and time frames, we will follow all state laws pertaining to amounts and conditions. Hence, we can’t get you more cannabis than the state allows you to have over a certain period. All legal requirements will be followed by the winner and by Cannabis.net. Once the state residence of the winner is known, then the prize amount can be determined to abide by all statutes and laws.
Winner must be:
18 years of age as of March 31, 2017
Legal Resident of US or Canada, or a jurisdiction where medicinal or recreational cannabis use and sale is legal.
Resident of state with legal medical or recreational cannabis use permit
- If medical only state, must provide proof of valid medical marijuana card

Sponsor reserves the right to alter, change or modify the winning Content, in its sole discretion. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
11. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the contest, if it is possible. If the contest, or any part of it, is discontinued for any reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.
