Netflix and Chillum – Series You Can Binge with a Bong (We’re also including Amazon Prime)
With so many things to see, what are the best new shows you can binge and bong? For those of you out there looking for a new series to consume, today we’re going to be taking a look at two of the biggest streaming platforms and what they have available in terms of content.
This list won’t specifically showcase series that are related to cannabis, but rather takes a closer look at the “entertainment value” for stoners. Of course, as with all lists, this one is subjective so if you don’t see something you believe should be on this list…do us all a favor and post it in the comments.
How many times are we sifting through thousands of options simply not knowing what to watch? Fortunately, for you, today we are going to be remedying that. So let’s get this party started!
The Boys – Amazon Prime (Season 2 in the Making)
What if super heroes were cunts? Well, with “The Boys” we get to see that version of the story. This series is ultra-violent and deals with some seriously dark topics. From corporate corruption, government cover-ups and homicidal super heroes, “The Boys” is one of those jewels I hope will continue to create content season after season.
Marvel has given us many decent super hero movies and series, however, “The Boys” brings in the ‘real factor’ in terms of what would really happen if Super Heroes existed. More importantly, it’s a genius critique on celebrity-ism, government and corporate corruption and how “collateral damage” is an accepted term in relation to human life.

GLOW – Netflix (Season 3)
The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling is a jewel in its own right. If you haven’t seen this show yet, do yourself a favor and start it up. With plenty of colorful characters, well-written dialogue and a solid plotline, this is one of those shows that simply makes you feel good.
This past week they released Season 3 giving you 36 episodes of pure gold to binge and bong this weekend. Check out GLOW if you’re into Comedy and Dramas.
Good Omens – Prime (Season 1)
David Tennant, who arguably is one of the best Doctor Who’s in history stars alongside Michael Sheen. The basic storyline – A demon and an Angel pair up to stop the apocalypse from happening when the Anti-Christ is born. It’s only 6 episodes long, meaning it will probably only eat up a day of your life, but it’s definitely worth it.
Season two has been approved so we can definitely expect to see some more of this odd-duo pair up to face the hordes of both heaven and hell.

Casa de Papel (3 Seaons) Netflix
This Spanish thriller will have you on the edge of your seat as a group of criminals sack the national Mint in Spain with the idea of printing out a large amount of cash and making their dashing escape. The plan was perfect, but people aren’t.
If you like heist movies and the likes, Casa de Papel is probably one of the best ones I have ever seen. Sure, it’s in Spanish, but every character is well-developed, the tension and conflict resolution is top-notch and it’s one of the best concepts for a heist of all time.
There have been similar takes on this concept, however Casa de Papel is definitely one of those shows you simply have to watch right now!
Orange is the New Black (Final Season) Netflix
This isn’t a new show by far, but the final season has been released. If you like shows about prison, Orange is the New Black is a less violent depiction of the HBO classic – OZ. Except, it deals with a women’s prison.
There are seven seasons to binge if you’ve never seen it. The characters of this show will pull at your heartstrings and the conclusion of the final season definitely was on point. Spectacular writing, strong character arcs and some good ol’ drama and comedy will make you lose sleep for days.
Definitely check this one out!
The Tick – Amazon Prime (2 Seasons)
Finally, we go to our favorite blue guy – The Tick – and his sidekick Arthur as they stand up against injustice while discovering their heroic selves. The Tick is a funny critique about super hero shows and is just a fun thing to watch. Sadly, it only has 2 seasons, but both seasons are definitely worth your time.
Grab that bong, sit back and watch how The Tick and Arthur combat villains in the most hilarious ways.
