There are so many wonderful ways of consuming CBD. Each day, there’s a new product out there that offers a new way to consume CBD or CBD oil. It can get a little overwhelming especially for medical patients who are new to cannabis or those who have unique needs. In this article, we’re going to break down each of the consumption methods available for CBD, and the pros and cons of each.
Concentrates
CBD concentrates are the most potent form of CBD in the market. It’s not unusual for CBD concentrates to contain as much as 10 times as much as the CBD found in other products. Concentrates are a great way to consume CBD if you are suffering from chronic illness not just because of its potency but also because they are discreet, mess-free, and they only take a few seconds to set in. However, most CBD concentrates aren’t flavored which can be discouraging for some users. CBD concentrates are ideal for recreational or medical users require a strong dose fast, especially when they are busy.

Tinctures are a popular way of consuming CBD. Just like concentrates, tinctures are a way to consume CBD in its purest form. There are some tinctures that have been created with flavors which make them more enjoyable to consume. Tinctures are taken sublingually, by placing a few drops just underneath your tongue. CBD tinctures in the market come in different dosages to suit different needs. The best way to get the most out of tinctures is by not swallowing the product as soon as you put it underneath your tongue; instead, place the drops sublingually and some on the sides of your cheeks and leave it for a few minutes.
