4/20/20 is fast approaching. It’s a day that cannabis enthusiasts around the world have been waiting a long time for. Unfortunately, unlike the all-out weed and love fests that everybody had in mind when they were planning for the day, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we’re all quarantined in our homes and will have to settle for decidedly smaller festivities. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to celebrate the day in style. Luckily, the industry has pulled together and organized a bevy of virtual entertainment and jam-packed activities that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home. Whether watching online or ordering from a 4/20 gift guide on your laptop, stay safe!

Peter Tosh Day
Steve DeAngelo, the Father of the Legal Cannabis Industry, will be joining Last Prisoner Project ambassador and Peter Tosh’s daughter Niambe McIntosh from 11 am to 12:30 pm to celebrate the holiday.
One of the core member of the Wailers, Peter Tosh was a musician and activist who cemented his place in history with his 1976 album Legalize It. He worked to promote the legalization of marijuana, expand Jamaica’s cultural and musical influence, and championed equal rights.

The Great American Seshin
Participating artists include B-Real of Cypress Hill, Tommy Chong, and Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation, among a slew of other heavy hitters. The event aims to raise funds to benefit first responders and help flatten the curve. Major players in the industry such as Amber Senter, Steve Bloom, Debby Goldsberry will also be participating.

Higher Together: Sessions from Home
Touted as the ‘World’s Biggest Virtual 420 Celebration’, Weedmaps has organized a virtual smoke circle featuring a stellar line-up of music acts and the chance to get high with some really cool people. The event will raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts, in partnership with Patients Out of Time and HandSanitizerASAP.com. The event will feature cannabis activists and musicians.
Seattle Hempfest: 4/20 Toke-a-Thon
Your 4/20 doesn’t need to be lonely. The Seattle Hempfest has a jam-packed day in store for you with a slew of fun activities, games, performers, and speaker appearances, not to mention a live toke-a-thon. Games include the Stone Olympics Highathlon, Bong Hit Championship, Stoner Trivia, and Group Pictionary. Keith Stroup from NORML and High Times’ Danny Danko will be speaking. Music will taken care of by Raelynn Nelson and Layzie Bone.

The Drug Policy Alliance and Americans for Safe Access’ HighStream 4/20 Festival
Headlined by Melissa Etheridge and Disco Biscuits, the HighStream 420 Festival is set to be a doozy. Apart from musical acts, there will also be educational sessions, workshops, and panels that will discuss efforts to end federal marijuana prohibition.

Chronic Relief
Chronic Relief will be a livestream fundraiser that will benefit Feeding America. Viewers will be able to enjoy musical performances, interviews with influencers, and appearances by celebrities and artists, all for a great cause.

Colorado’s 420 For a Cause
Join Colorado in celebrating the occasion and help out local organizations at the same time. The event will benefit the Colorado Comedy Relief Fund, Colorado Restaurant Association, Eddie Roberts Payback Foundation, and the Colorado COVID Relief Fund.
