The other day I was visiting my local headshop owned by a good friend of mine, and purchased a solution to turn my dabs into e-juice. While there are tons of recipes online, I was appreciative of the fact that some company decided to make the entire ordeal much simpler. Now with this kit, I can easily turn my vape device into a top notch dabber.

The Process of Converting Dabs into E-Juice

The process of turning dabs into e-juice is quite simple. Essentially, you can either make it in the microwave oven or on a conventional stove. I did mine on the stove just because I’m old-school. What I had to do was take a pot, pour some water in it and turn on the flame. In the middle of the water, I placed a little “shot glass” which was provided by the e-juice kit. I placed the wax in the glass and added the corresponding liquid.

After a few minutes, everything melted together and I stirred it to make sure that the blend was even. I used about a gram of dabs to make it happen. Out of the experiment I pulled out about 20 ml of liquid. It filled one of my little “droppers” to the brim and based on my conventional vaping habits, this should last me easily about two weeks with some moderate vaping.

What is nice about this is that the e-juice comes in flavors. Now I can toke up with the nice taste of strawberries.

All in all, the entire process took me about 15 minutes to complete. I then poured it into a conventional e-cigarette and started puffing. I was pleasantly surprised with the end result.

The benefits of turning dabs into e-juice

While it isn’t too difficult to spot the benefits of doing this, I’ll go ahead and list them anyway for anyone too blazed to reason properly at this very moment.

1. You unlock the ability to “toke and roam” – Even when you’re dabbing in a vape pen designed for wax; for the savvy police officer you can still get busted. They just have to see that your pen isn’t designed to hold liquids and can immediately detect whether you’re dabbing or not. This can’t be done with the e-juice solution as there is no way that a cop can tell if you are vaping e-juice or cannabis infused e-juice. With this method you can roam the world without the fear of getting busted.

2. Cost Efficiency – I wrote an article about the efficiency of dabbing, however turning your dabs into e-juice makes it even more cost efficient. I take about a month and a half to consume 5 grams of wax. By turning it into e-juice, it takes me about 2 weeks to finish one gram, meaning I’m almost doubling the duration of the stash. Economically speaking…this is what you want to do if you’re on a limited budget and still want to get high daily.

3. Flavors – Now I love the taste and smell of weed, however I’m also quite intrigued with the different flavors these e-juices provide. There’s a large range of flavors to choose from which means it can take the monotony out of the smoking experience. You could even flavor your strains accordingly…lemony for morning hits, fruitier for evening tokes. Really you get to play around with it as much as you want.

Personally, I still prefer the raw power of dabbing or smoking a bowl, however for the next time I’m on a road trip…I’m definitely going to take a couple of vials of cannabis infused e-juice to never run out of a toke while I’m on the road.
